Wilder Lake is a pristine, spring fed 8-acre lake and a great place to bring a friend to fly-fish. Stocked with trout that range from 12-22 inches, this nutrient rich lake can be fished year-round. During the warmer summer months, bass are easily caught along the shoreline edges. Wilder was recently stocked with Kamloop trout up to 22 inches, and these large aggressive large trout will challenge light tackle, so be prepared with a six-weight rod and 10 lb. tippets. Pontoon boats are recommended.

An abundance of aquatic life is found in this lake including Jurassic size midges and dragonfly nymphs. During the summer, trout cruise along the shallow shoreline areas to hunt a large minnow population.
